The other night Stockholm's Södra Teatern had a visit from Canadian Bell Orchestre. It was a marvellous concert! With a sligthly unusual lineup of trumpet, french horn, violin, double bass, and drums they created a powerful sound. One of the members is also a member of Arcade Fire, which you could sometimes sense. Bell Orchestre's music is of a different kind - with touches of classical music, jazz, folk music, and electronic music (however, they don't sound as pretentious as such a description might suggest) - but the kinship could be sensed in the fevery, galloping beat of some of the songs.

And now I want to see Arcade Fire live even more!
